Dec 29- Jan 1 Staff and Volunteer Reunion

Jan 4-6  Father-son Mountain Man weekend  For dads and their sons. A weekend for building relationships and working together. Trail riding, wood cutting and splitting, archery, rope making, sledding if there’s snow, and general fun and fellowship with other guys. Come out and join the fun! $90 each

Jan 11-13  Winter Work Weekend (indoors to improve facilities)  No charge-this is a bonding time for families, friends, and groups! Work, pray, and play together. This is a time to help us fix up our facilities to better serve our guests and house our staff. Projects will be somewhat determined by the weather-we will be indoors when it is cold out! Come join us for work on Saturday and worship and play on Sunday. Families and individuals are welcome.

Jan 18-20 Couples Weekend (private rooms for 25 couples, meeting in new Dining Hall) A time to get away and draw closer together as a couple. Relax and enjoy one another’s company by the fire in our new Dining Hall! Each couple will have their own private room. Activities may include hiking, trail riding, sledding (if there’s snow), worship and fellowship. Speakers and discussion leaders are Bill and Phyllis Wiley.  Cost: Friday night through dinner Saturday-$110 per couple, OR Friday night through Sunday morning after worship, with two nights lodging and 4 meals-$165 per couple.

Jan 25-27 Single Parent’s Weekend  Held several times a year, this is a weekend just for singles and single parents and their children. Come feel Christ’s presence as you share with others the common hurts, frustrations and needs, as well as joys, healings and victories of your family. It is also an opportunity for spiritual renewal and growth, and a peaceful trail ride. $70 per person, scholarships available.

Feb 1-3 Women’s Retreat Ladies, you don't want to miss this event! It will be a great time of worship!!! Held in our new Dining Hall by the fire, our speaker will be Dollie Ruffaner with worship led by Melody Deems. If you’ve been on a trail with either of these ladies you know you will be blessed! Come join us for a “girls only” time of fun, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. $95 per person, Non-riding $75.

Feb 2 Bow hunting season Closer (CBA)

Feb 9 Father/Daughter DAY DADS! come share some precious time  with your princess(es)! A day just for dads and daughters.

Feb 15-18  Camper Winter reunion Ever been a High Adventure Camper? This is your weekend to come back and renew friendships with other campers, staff and of course, horses! Calling all previous summer campers! Come join us for a winter weekend of fun with your friends-both two and four-legged. Take a trail ride, go sledding or skating weather permitting. See how the babies have grown, share how you have grown in the Lord, and renew your fire for Him! Parents are invited to come as well and join in the fun! $70

Campers will have at least 8 hours of CCHI certified horsemanship instruction in barn classes, ring lessons, and trail rides. Have a horse for a weekend to get to know as you work on your horsemanship skills both on and off the horse! This is open to adults, families, children, groups, and individuals, so come join the fun! $115 winter rate

Mar 14-16 Mother/Daughter weekend  Two weekends a year just for moms and their girls to enjoy time together building and sharing memories that will last a lifetime. Take a trail ride, make a craft, and be inspired by the fellowship you will enjoy during these special weekends. $90 winter rate

April 1-Home School Riding Lessons start 1-3 pm Students come for a two hour time period, groom and saddle their own horse, have a brief devotion and an hour riding lesson. The last week there is a trail ride and family members are invited to join in for that! $115 for the eight week session, pre paid, or $17 per week.

The favorites of Cattle Roundup for teens and adults and Cowboy Chuckwagon breakfast for all also occur.

June 1 Summer Staff Training and Orientation begins

June 15-August 22 Summer Camp and Day Camp programming. Group retreats welcome throughout summer as well.

August  30  Ride A Thon

October 4  Family Harvest Festival A one day event sure to be enjoyed by everyone! Activities and games to play, crafts to make and take with you, lunch cooked over the fire, and beautiful autumn weather to enjoy. Hay rides, pony rides for your little ones, and trail rides for those old enough to ride on their own will fill your day with fun and memories.
